Something Blue

Bogged down by the winter doldrums, it's tough to realize that summer is rapidly approaching. But the mister and I can practically taste the warmer months -- perhaps because we're starting to select our signature cocktails to be served at the wedding!

With under six months to go, we're still debating between some of our favorite potent potables. Gin and tonics, though, are definitely in -- featuring Philly's own Bluecoat gin.

Mr. Bruschetta and I were first introduced to Bluecoat at Cork, one of our favorite restaurants. The local libation was prominently displayed on the bar, and a friendly customer enthused about the flavor it brought to his g & t.

I love the idea of personalizing as much of a wedding as possible to the bride and groom's tastes. So naturally, I'm looking forward to sharing this something blue with our family and friends in August.
